Warranty Policy

What is covered

• Defects in materials and workmanship
• Premature capacity loss — capacity falling below 70% of rated capacity within the warranty period under normal use
• Failure to hold charge
• Internal battery management system (BMS) faults
• Terminal and case defects

What is not covered

• Physical damage from accidents, impact, or incorrect handling
• Damage caused by incorrect installation or reverse polarity connection
• Use outside the battery’s specified ratings or applications
• Damage caused by faulty third-party equipment (e.g. a failing alternator or non-compliant charger)
• Normal wear consistent with rated cycle life

How to claim

Email saltycellbatteries@gmail.com with your order number, a brief description of the fault, and a photo if relevant. You do not need to uninstall or return the battery for initial assessment — a photo and description is sufficient for most claims. We aim to resolve every claim within 5 business days. If a fault is confirmed, we replace the battery free of charge, including freight.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.
